Over two years I created almost 100 paintings. I worked through fear, loneliness, new love, faith, and joy—all colors of emotion. At the end of this frenzy of creative activity I was invited to display my work at a local art show. I was a top seller and brought in over five thousand dollars.

If I am not creating something new, I feel stuck and trapped. To create is to be alive. When we use our creativity to design our lives we lift ourselves up. Creativity is one way to use your voice in the world and it is the way that I love the most.

Claiming my voice has been a lifelong pursuit for me.
